Niki Karimi to judge Durban filmfest

TEHRAN, June 9 (MNA) -- Actor and director Niki Karimi has been appointed jury member at the Durban International Film Festival which will take place in South Africa from June 20 until July 1.

 

Karimi was also on the jury of the Cinéfondation and short films section of the 60th Cannes Film Festival which took place from May 16 to 27.

 

Her movie “A Few Days Later” has been entered at the La Rochelle International Film Festival, which will take place in France, from June 29 to July 9.

 

Niki Karimi has previously been selected as jury member at the following festivals -- Berlin, Locarno, Izmir, Thessaloniki, Delhi, Dubai, and Island.

 

Bahman Qobadi’s movie “Half Moon” and Mani Haqiqi’s “Men at Work” are also entries at the Durban festival.
